Sunday November 11 brings with it the Fremantle Harbour Classic, an annual sailing event filled with skill and excitement.
A total of 30 boats, varying in size from 22 feet all the way through to 62 feet, compete in the event. Entry is by invitation from the organisers, who try to vary the boat size to make the finish as unpredictable as possible. read article »
The Gascoyne Dash is an off-road event for bikes and cars. The race is run along the Gascoyne River in Western Australia and runs November 1 to 4.
Originally, the Gascoyne Dash started as a boat race, but changed to cars and bikes due to the severe lack of rain turning the river to dust. read article »
